Volkswagen Tiny Buzz gets a new job

The Volkswagen Tiny Buzz is a remote-controlled electric miniature ID. Buzz that made its debut at the UEFA womens's EURO 2022 tournament where the Lionesses made history to claim their first title. The Tiny Buzz has now been re-employed to support Girls United, an international organisation that champions girls’ football at grassroots level.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was the UEFA women's EURO 2022 tournament’s Official Mobility Partner and is now partnered with the Girls United Football Association.

The Tiny Buzz carried the match ball to the centre spot at Wembley, in the first game of the hugely popular tournament and also in the historic final, where England beat Germany by two goals to one.

The Tiny Buzz has now made special guest appearances at grassroots girls’ football matches and training across London, delivering the match balls.

Girls United is an international organisation that champions girls’ football at grassroots level, facilitating training sessions and matches as part of a push to increase the sport’s diversity and visibility.

Based on the iconic VW bus of the 1960s and 1970s, the ID. Buzz is available as both a passenger vehicle but also as a commercial vehicle.

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo is the first fully-electric vehicle in Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ range. With a 77 kWh battery, it has a real world electric range of over 200 miles and a 5% to 80% charge time of around 30 minutes.

A five-seater with 1,121 litres of luggage space behind the second row of seats, the ID. Buzz comes in two trim lines, the ID. Buzz Life, from £57,115, and the ID. Buzz Style, from £61,915. There’s a choice of 19-inch or 21-inch alloy wheels.

The ID. Buzz has features such as the smart ID. Light system, which welcomes you when you approach the vehicle, and Car2X technology, which allows the ID. Buzz to communicate with other vehicles in road traffic to warn each other of local danger spots.

The ID. Buzz is now open for orders and it will also be delivered net carbon neutral.
