Vauxhall Corsa-e and Mokka-e prices reduced by £3,000
The Vauxhall Corsa-e and Vauxhall Mokka-e have just become a lot more affordable because the prices of all models have been reduced by £3,000.
Prices have been reduced in order to qualify for the additional £1,500 discount provided by the Government Plug-in Car Grant. The grant is now only available on cars priced at less than £32,000 (reduced from £35,000), and the grant has been reduced from £2,500 to £1,500.
This means that prices for the Vauxhall Corsa-e now start at £25,805, and prices for the Vauxhall Mokka-e now start at £29,365.
Vauxhall says that it has reduced the prices in order to move the UK to electric motoring as quickly as possible. Vauxhall will offer an electrified variant across its entire model line-up by 2024 and will have a fully electric vehicle range by 2028. Vauxhall already offers an electric version of every van in its model line-up.
At the same time, the electric driving ranges of the Vauxhall Corsa-e and Vauxhall Mokka-e have also been improved. The Vauxhall Corsa-e now has an electric driving range of 222 miles, up from 209 miles, an increase of around six per cent, and the Vauxhall Mokka-e now has an electric driving range of 209 miles, up from 201 miles, an increase of around four per cent.
