Skoda Enyaq receives range topping updates for 2024
In 2024, Skoda plans to introduce significant engineering, design, and specification improvements for the Skoda Enyaq, aiming to enhance its performance, charging speed, equipment level, and range.
The Škoda Enyaq has been updated for 2024, gaining a longer range, more power, faster charging and more equipment.
The Enyaq 80 has also changed its name, becoming the Enyaq 85, and the all-wheel drive 80x is updated to the 85x (the name of the entry-level Enyaq 60 remains unchanged).
The 85 and 85x models now offer a range of (WLTP) 351 miles from their 77kWh batteries, an increase of 12 miles. The entry level Enyaq 60, equipped with a 58 kWh (net) battery, now has a WLTP combined range figure of 249 miles (a three-mile increase).
The increased ranges are due to refinements to the Enyaq’s battery and energy management software.
As well as improved ranges, the Enyaq also gains more power. The 85 and 85x models now generate 286 PS as standard, an 82 PS increase over the previous 80 model, and a 21 PS increase over the previous Enyaq 80x. The extra power allows the Enyaq 85 to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.7 seconds, which is 1.8 seconds quicker. The Enyaq 85x now reaches 62 mph from standstill in 6.6 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster. Top speed for both model rises to 111 mph, an increase of 12 mph. The Enyaq 60 retains the same 179 PS motor as before.
The Skoda Enyaq 85x now has faster DC rapid charging of up to 175 kW, 40 kW higher than before, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in 29 minutes - a seven-minute improvement.
The infotainment system, the digital cockpit display and optional head-up display have also been improved, with the aim of being easier to use, particularly the charging and climate displays (except for the Enyaq 60).
Two new models are also being introduced, the Enyaq 60 Edition and Enyaq 85 Edition, with extra equipment, which are £1,615 more than the previous models: the Enyaq 60 Edition is priced from £40,585, while the Enyaq 85 Edition is available from £44,540.
All-wheel drive is now offered as standard on the SportLine Plus trim, from £48,605 - the same price as the previous rear-wheel drive model.
Other models in the Enyaq range also gain more equipment, and are available with Advanced or Maxx option packages.
