PEUGEOT E-3008 is now on sale with an all-electric powertrain

With its new all-electric powertrain, the aerodynamic fastback SUV PEUGEOT E-3008 is now available for order in the UK.

The PEUGEOT E-3008 ‘fastback SUV‘ is now on sale, and it’s the first model to use Stellantis’ all-new electric powertrain.

This means a 73kWh (usable capacity) lithium-ion battery, capable of a range of up to 326 miles (WLTP), with an electric motor producing 210hp of power and 343Nm of torque.

It can also ultra-rapid charge at up to 160kW, when a 20% to 80% charge should take 20 minutes or 62 miles of range could be added in 10 minutes.

The E-3008 comes as standard with an 11kW three-phase onboard charger. Using a 7.4kW charger at home the battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in 8 hours.

Most electric cars so far from Stellantis have only had a 50kWh battery, and more recently this has been updated to 54kWh, along with a maximum rapid charging rate of 100kW, so the PEUGEOT E-3008, with its 73kWh battery and 160kW maximum charge rate, represents progress.

The new E-3008 has adopted a striking fastback design, rather than the more traditional SUV shape of the previous 3008 model. It’s available in two trim levels, Allure (£45,850) and GT (£49,650).

The new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit has a customisable virtual ‘i-Toggle’ display, and a new compact steering wheel which you look over to view the standard 21-inch high-definition panoramic curved display, which ‘appears to float’. Ambient LED lighting can be customised in eight different colours and adapts to different drive modes (Eco, Normal and Sport). There are also three levels of regenerative braking.

The diamond-cut alloy wheels are either 19-inch or 20-inch in size. If you want heated front seats and steering wheel, or the ultra-thin PEUGEOT PIXEL LED headlights, then you’ll need to opt for the GT model.

By 2025, PEUGEOT will offer a complete EV line-up, and by 2030, 100% of the brand’s sales in Europe will be electric.
