MG introduces the MGS5 EV, a new all-electric SUV heading to the UK

Fast-charging capabilities mean minimal downtime, with the 49kWh battery reaching 80% charge in just 24 minutes and the 64kWh version taking only 28 minutes. Maximum DC charging rates of 120kW (49kWh) and 139kW (64kWh) ensure rapid power-ups at compatible stations.

The MGS5 EV is packed with smart technology designed to enhance convenience and safety. MG’s iSMART system allows drivers to control key vehicle functions remotely via a mobile app, including locking and unlocking, pre-conditioning the climate, and checking battery levels.

A comprehensive MG Pilot driver assistance suite includes features such as collision avoidance, lane safety, adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking, and blind spot detection. A unique MG Pilot Custom function enables drivers to tailor assistance features to their preferences.
