At the event, Kia will debut several important new models, including the Kia EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2. These vehicles, representing Kia’s latest electric technology and design innovations, will mark the next step in the company’s global EV strategy.
The Kia EV4, initially revealed as a concept in 2023, will make its official global debut, alongside the PV5, the first model built on Kia's dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV). The PV5 was previously displayed as a concept at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Kia will also showcase the Concept EV2, a compact addition to its growing dedicated EV lineup.
The three new models will highlight Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, which fuses contrasting elements to create innovative and striking aesthetics. These vehicles will feature the latest in Kia's electric platform technology, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to shaping the future of sustainable mobility for both consumers and businesses.
In addition to the new models, Kia will outline its PBV strategy, including a detailed overview of its new business vision and product line-up, with the PV5 playing a central role. The company will also present a groundbreaking PBV platform, a dedicated battery electric skateboard architecture that allows for flexible vehicle body combinations to meet diverse customer needs.
Senior members of Kia’s leadership team will be on hand to discuss these developments, including the company’s expanded electrification strategy. This will offer a glimpse into how Kia plans to transform the global EV market and lead the industry toward a more sustainable future. A full event video will be available on Kia's Worldwide YouTube channel in March.
Kia's 2025 EV Day will be a pivotal moment in the company's journey towards securing its position at the forefront of the global electric vehicle sector.
