Hyundai teases INSTER A-segment EV
Here are the first teaser images of the forthcoming INSTER sub-compact EV, ahead of a global reveal later in June
Here are the first teaser images of Hyundai's latest EV, the INSTER. Heading for a global debut at the Busan International Mobility Show later in June.
Called CASPER Electric in native South Korea, the INSTER is a super-compact mini-SUV style electric car.

According to Hyundai the name is derived from the words "intimate" and "innovative", so we can expect a really small (in UK terms) EV, perhaps the smallest on the market bar the Smart ForTwo.
Little has been revealed ahead of the debut, but we do know that the carmaker has confirmed the maximum WLTP range will be around 355km - which is 220 miles in old money. So we're not expecting a large battery pack, which will help keep the cost of the car low.
Hyundai is promising a level of finish and tech not previously seen in the A-segment. And there's some nice use of LED and pixel graphics on the images revealed so far.
