New electric van player to enter UK market: Geely Farizon SV arriving in 2025

Established in 2016, Farizon boasts a strong reputation for user-centric, technology-driven electric commercial vehicles. The SV, their flagship large electric panel van, spearheads their UK debut, with sales starting in the first half of 2025.

Developed specifically for European fleets, the SV boasts several world-first innovations. Built on a bespoke "born electric" platform, it promises advantages in cargo space, range, handling, and safety. Here are some key highlights:

  • Cell-to-pack technology: Increases battery capacity by 10%, reduces weight by 4%, and improves body rigidity by 20%.
  • First-ever dual-redundancy drive-by-wire platform: Reduces stopping distance by 10%, increases range by 5%, and improves steering response by 300%. Additionally, it optimises load capacity and creates an extra-low loading height.
  • High-strength steel and hybrid materials: Reduce weight by 8% for better payload, energy efficiency, and performance.

Focus on driver comfort and safety

The SV prioritizes driver comfort and safety. The interior features the latest technology for convenience and ease of use, while retaining physical buttons for critical functions to minimise distraction.

Multiple options and future plans

At launch, three vehicle lengths and three heights will be available alongside two battery pack sizes: 67 kWh and 83 kWh. A larger 106 kWh option will follow later. Full UK specifications, pricing, and a confirmed sales date will be announced soon.

A compelling new option for fleets

The Farizon SV offers a compelling option for businesses transitioning to zero-emission commercial vehicles. This innovative van provides more cargo space, greater range, and a superior driver experience.
