BYD sponsors 2024 Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall

BYD has become the official automotive partner to the 2024 edition of the popular Boardmasters Festival. The annual surfing celebration runs from August 8th to 11th and according to BYD brings together two brands committed to sustainability and aiming to inspire the next generation of consumers.

The Boardmasters Festival, a highlight of the UK summer, features the thrilling World Surf Championships at Fistral Beach, Newquay, and a vibrant cliff-top music festival at Watergate Bay. This year's attendees can anticipate a stellar lineup of world-class surfers and diverse music performances, with headliners like Stormzy, Chase and Status, and Sam Fender. Set against the picturesque Cornish coastline, Boardmasters 2024 promises to be an unforgettable experience for those in attendance.

Festivalgoers will get the opportunity to have a close look at the BYD range of electric cars - including the Dolphin pictured above. There'll be two special BYD display areas, at Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach.
