All electric hypercar, DEUS Vayanne, makes first UK appearance
Just 99 DEUS Vayannes will be produced with customer deliveries starting in 2025
The DEUS Vayanne has finally made it to the UK, with its appearance at the high end Salon Prive event which took place last weekend at Blenheim Palace.
The all-electric hypercar has been making its way around the most prestigious motoring events since it's world premiere back in April in New York and now UK fans have had the chance to get up close to the exclusive and highly expensive zero emissions car.
Based out of Vienna, Austria, DEUS isn't a familiar name to many in the UK but the team behind the car has some pedigree, with the hypercar a collab between Italdesign and Advanced Engineering, part of the Williams Grand Prix group of companies and the Vayanne is the first model to be unveiled by the carmaker.
The performance numbers released for the Vayanne are very impressive, with a 85 kWh battery linked up to an all wheel drive setup, with a single speed 550kW motor on the front wheels and two 550kW motors on the rear, and all that power means top speed will be in the region of 250 mph and a 0-62mph time of under 2 seconds. Vehicle range is expected to be in the high 200 miles when driven conservatively.
With production limited to just 99 units, demand for the hypercar is expected to outstrip supply regardless of the cost of the electric car. Just another sign that the automotive world is turning electric.
