Maintenance essentials

  • Please remember to carry out regular maintenance checks in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

  • The vehicle should be returned at the end of lease with a complete service history

  • All replacement parts should be manufacturer standard

Parking fines

We automatically pay parking fines on your behalf, and then recharge them to you.

Travelling in and out of London?

Electric and plug-in hybrid cars and vans qualify for a 100% discount on the London Congestion Charge until December 25th 2025. However, you must apply for the Cleaner Vehicle Discount and pay a £10 registration fee to activate it. Please note that you are still required to pay the daily charge until you receive your exemption certificate, as stated in your Contract Schedule.

Insurance FAQ

As part of your Salary Sacrifice scheme, we include comprehensive insurance which is either a Fleetwise Salary Sacrifice policy from Aviva or an NIG policy arranged by Churchill Expert and underwritten by U K Insurance Limited.

Your cover starts from midnight on the day you receive your car and lasts until 11:59pm on the day your salary sacrifice contract ends.

All your policy details can be found in the CarReward portal in your ‘Documents’.

The insurance premium is calculated taking into consideration a range of factors. These include factors such as the age of the youngest driver, the postcode where the vehicle will be kept, the annual mileage allowance, and the vehicle insurance group.

Obtaining this information ensures we can provide an accurate road insurance product to each individual driver.

  • Cover for claims from other people for injury, or damage to their vehicle or property
  • Cover for windscreen repair and replacements
  • Permanently fitted in-car audio fitted as part of the vehicle’s standard equipment up to £1,000
  • Misfuelling of vehicle with a reduced excess of £50
  • Replacement of locks up to the vehicle value limit
  • Cover if vehicles are stolen, damaged by fire, or accidentally damaged up to the market value of the vehicle
  • Personal belongings up to £500 with a reduced excess of £0
  • Emergency Medical Expenses up to £500 per person
  • Cover for electric cables, batteries & chargers provided by DriveElectric up to the vehicle value limit
  • Courtesy Car (subject to availability) -we will provide a replacement car while the vehicle is off-road at one of our approved repairers

  • Cover for claims from other people for injury, or damage to their vehicle or property
  • Replacement of locks if the ignition keys are lost or stolen
  • Cover if vehicles are stolen, damaged by fire, or accidentally damaged up to the market value of the vehicle
  • Personal belongings up to £350
  • If you or any other occupant of your vehicle is injured as a result of your vehicle being in an accident Aviva will pay for the medical expenses in connection with such injury up to a maximum sum of £350 in respect of each person injured
  • Courtesy Car (subject to availability) -we will provide a replacement car while the vehicle is off-road at one of our approved repairers

  • Breakdown
  • Loss or damage caused by general wear and tear or depreciation
  • If the vehicle is left unlocked, left with keys/key fob in or on the vehicle, left with engine running or left with window or roof open
  • If the vehicle is used by someone who is not authorised to drive

There is no cover while the vehicle is being:

  • driven by anyone aged under 21 or over the age of 70
  • used for a purpose other than social, domestic, pleasure, commuting or business use
  • used for hire and reward
  • used for racing, pace-making, competitions, rallies, track days, trials or speed tests
  • used by anyone in the sports, entertainment/ theatrical, racing and gambling industries

Yes, the vehicle is covered

You are covered in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

If you wish to take your vehicle abroad on a trip to the European Union, you may do so with prior approval from DriveElectric. An additional fee for cover may be added to your salary deduction.

Yes, you can add one additional driver. Please note that the additional driver must live at the same address and meet the same eligibility criteria as the main driver.

The cost of insurance is included in your monthly salary deduction.

As the insurance provided is a commercial policy you won’t earn a no claims bonus, however at the end of your term you can contact us and we’ll be able to provide confirmation of your claims experience which you may be able to use when obtaining a quote with another insurer.

Subject to availability - a courtesy car will be provided while the vehicle is off the road at one of our approved repairers.
