The first electric pickup truck that went on sale in the UK was the Maxus T90 EV, which was launched in 2023. Currently, it is the only electric pickup on UK roads.
In the US, the Ford F-150 Lighting is a popular electric pickup, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting it on these shores anytime soon. There is talk about electric versions of the Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok being released in the near future, but it is yet to be confirmed. We’re also expecting the following electric pickups to be on UK roads soon:
