The first all electric pick-up truck to hit the UK, the Maxus T90EV boasts an impressive array of utility and style. And given the popularity of pick-ups in the UK, the Maxus T90EV could provide to be a popular new model here at DriveElectric. Electric pick-up lease? Yes please.
Power is provided by a large 88.5 kWh battery pack with a WLTP range of 220 miles, so in the real world around 160-180 miles. Featuring a Type 2 / CCS charger connector, the T90EV can be charged using a 11kW AC unit, usually found in a workplace setting or home charger.
The T90EV can also take advantage of DC Rapid charging units - found on the public networks - at 80kW, which means under certain conditions going from 20% to 80% charge can take only 45 minutes.
A working pick-up
The proof of the capability of any light commercial vehicle is whether it's suitable as a working vehicle - and the Maxus T90EV does hold its own.
Maximum payload for the rear load space is 1,000 kg and it also has the capability of towing a braked trailer too. Optional extras on the electric pick-up include a hard top box, front winch pack and tow bar.
Inside the cabin you can expect a good 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, there is also artificial leather seats as standard.
