Peugeot e-2008 electric lease

The Peugeot e-2008 electric car offers everything an eco-conscious family would need from an EV. From the outside, it's clear that headspace within the cabin is prioritised. That's not to say it's particularly boxy, but the e-2008 plays its safe from a design perspective, opting for an increasingly popular style of vehicle dubbed the 'crossover'.

As expected, there's plenty of space inside for a family. With great sound insulation, road noise shouldn't be an issue for passengers, and there are plenty of storage compartments for kids to hide parents' keys in. The boot is easy-to-access with a low lip, making shopping trips that little bit easier.

Tech-wise there's a 3D digital instrument panel which compliments the futuristic feel of the EV, offering extensive driver information at a glance. Three driving modes let the driver tune the e-2008's behaviour; Eco, Normal and Sport. Each operates as the name suggests, with Eco prioritising range and a smooth drive.

The Peugeot e-2008 lease is offered with a single battery size: a 50kWh pack.

In terms of range, this gives the e-2008 an official WLTP range of 193 miles. At DriveElectric however, we do our own tests to determine a more realistic range for every vehicle we lease, including our Peugeot e-2008 leasing offers. We concluded that drivers are more likely to achieve around 155 miles per charge, which is still more than enough for most families throughout the day.

The e-2008 uses the European standard of connector; the Type 2 and CCS. Charging at home via a standard 7kW wall-box charger will fully charge the Peugeot in around 7 hours and 30 minutes. Most customers plug-in overnight and take advantage of cheaper energy prices during the off-peak hours.

When using a 100kW rapid charger found at service stations, car parks, hotels etc. the e-2008 can go from a 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes.
