Leapmotor was founded in December 2015 in Hangzhou, China and quickly made its mark in the EV world. In 2024, the company expanded internationally, launching operations in the UK with support from Stellantis, which became its largest shareholder in 2023.

Currently, Leapmotor offers two models for lease in the UK:

A Leapmotor EV lease with DriveElectric includes the vehicle lease itself and the contract terms you choose to suit your needs. Maintenance is an optional extra for an additional monthly cost. Plus, you can choose to include the cost of a home charger in your lease for added convenience (which is yours to keep at the end of your lease).
