About the Audi Q8 e-tron lease
Revised for 2023, the Audi Q8 e-tron is the range-topping EV SUV from the German brand, sitting above the Q4 e-tron in the range. It comes in a couple of bodystyles too, this is the bulkier SUV version but there's also a Q8 e-tron Sportback version, with a sleeker side profile.
Aside from the naming convention, there's a whole lot of premium SUV here, complete with all the German style and panache you've come to expect from Audi.
A large-sized SUV with plenty of room to accommodate five adults, the original concept version was first shown off to the world back in 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The production version arrived in 2019 and became one of the first premium all-electric SUVs in the UK. This new version has been heavily revised for 2023.
For those interested in experiencing this top-tier electric SUV, Audi Q8 car leasing offers a flexible and cost-effective alternative to full ownership.
Audi Q8 e-tron power
The 2023 revision of the Q8 e-tron saw the replacement of the smaller battery pack in favour of retaining the 89 kWh unit and adding a new 106 kWh pack into proceedings.
Any EV which such a large battery needs to have a good maximum fastcharge capability to make use of rapid and ultra-rapid public charging units and here too Audi has improved things. The Q8 50 e-tron with the smaller 89 kWh battery can accept up to 150kW of DC power while the Q8 55 e-tron can handle up to 170kW.
This means that the larger Q8 55 e-tron at an ultra-rapid charging unit can go from 10% to 80% battery capacity in around half an hour - adding over 200 miles back into the EV's range.
